Cheap as chips gaming pc for old games??

At a guess. Due to the vintage of the games you could play them well on a AMD trinity system which would be very affordable.

    Short mATX tower

T1 and T2 http://www.zalman.com/eng/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=616 Also I can't really recommend that inwin case for a gaming build. The SFX PSU wasnt really up to handling my old PII 945+5770. PSU Fan would go full blast under load.

    Short mATX tower

Zalman showed off some mATX towers at CES 2013. Tallish at 420mm odd but very short depth. You should check them out.

SG02 Build Concern, looking for input!

Honestly that cpu is too much for that case. You need to set up extra exhaust fans to get the heat out. Try it without the cover and see what sort of temps you get to get an idea of what they should be.

    mATX $600+ Gaming/Media PC Build

Yeah np. Personally much prefer a mini tower to a cube because height is not usually a restriction and you end up with a much smaller footprint. Using an nsk3480 myself. Hopefully with the money saved you can spring for a gtx460. MUCH better than a gts250 which has its roots in 2007...

    mATX $600+ Gaming/Media PC Build

If you have access to aerocool go for the qs200. Much better case than the qx. Fits longer gpus and easy to use hdd mounting. Also probably smaller in footprint and volume than either the lanbox or qx.

My SG03 build and the quest for silence

Personally I think making a powerful quiet system in an sg03 is always going to be a challenge. The innovative layout that lets it get so small is compromised on heat and therefore noise. My advice, you've already got a good psu in the nexus 430, I'd switch to the nsk3480. Doesn't look as...

    AMD 125w TDP mini-itx...

I think you're out of options to be honest. Because the 920 only has a ddr2 memory controller iirc and the only amd itx boards that support ddr2 wouldn't support 125w cpus.

    H55N-USB3

While I do believe that the socket placement is flawed, I also think that people have slightly unrealistic expectations of mitx. As a result of the size of a mitx board the number of power phases are severely limited. Therefore, to run an overclocked quad at this point in time is extremely risky...

    New SFF heatsink option

I was thinking. 1156 hole spacing is 75mm. The shorter of the 2 dimensions is 82mm. That would mean an overhang of 3.5 mm past the centre of the holes. I'd say it more than likely fit. Also, doesn't the stock intel cooler have an 80mm fan? i.e. the difference is then only 1mm?

    New SFF heatsink option

Looks like prolimatech has gotten in on the low profile heatsink market. http://techpowerup.com/122818/Prolimatech_Readies_Samuel_17_Low-Profile_CPU_Heatsink.html At 45mm tall should be great for sg05/06 users and the offset fan should mean that it should fit the new h55 itx motherboards.

The OFFICIAL post pics of your SFF thread...

Thats what I thought at first having run intel builds in the past. But perusing the manual on this amd build says otherwise.

    Post your cramped microATX build...

Just wanted to show off my sff. It's not quite finished yet, still some upgrades in the pipeline but isn't that always the case? Basically this was a system that was to use alot of leftover parts that I had lying around and just recently I've had the opportunity to upgrade it to am3+quad from...
