My previous card was indeed a GTX 760 by MSI. My system specs are Q6600 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR2 800, no SSD yet just normal 7200 rpm drives for now. I get 60 fps on games like Skyrim with mods on high/AA-AF set to 8 playing at 1080P. I plan to buy Xenoverse next. I know my PC is old and...
I got a new ASUS DirectCU II R9270X 2GB version for about $140 after tax. I needed a new card to replace a similar one that recently failed. Thing is, I went from 4GB to 2GB and Nvidia to AMD/ATI. Don't notice any difference in my games, but I still wonder if I made the right choice.
My system probably never needed anything above 400w, but I like to have room for future upgrades. My specs are q6600 @ 3ghz (may go higher), 8600gts (don't game), 3 sata hdd, 2 dvd burners, 2gb ram. Other things like 2 120mm case fans, fan controller, card reader, floppy etc.

Well check them out. I should see if they give the $10 back too. And they even specify the stepping now. Anyway Q6600 FTW! This thing eats my Prescott for breakfast. It's also G0.
