My first ever motherboard was a Chaintech for my old AMD K5 166, would be nice to see them return, the user manual was great and very detailed, learned a lot with that board.
got mine a few days ago and I am pretty impressed with it although I have to agree the instruction sheet provided was pretty much useless to the point where I had to take a look for a reveiw detailing the correct install procedure to make sure I didnt balls up the install.
keeps my unlocked...
interesting, I just ordered one of these on thurday, still waiting for it :-(,
also would like to know: where does a customer stand if a unit like this leaks and destroys your hardware, would this be covered under the units warranty???
well I Just pulled the trigger on the Antec H20 620 after reading a few reviews, seems to be a decent performer for the price .looking fwd to Friday now, be nice to have somthing to do on my day off :-)
thanks for the input guys
thanx for the relpy, unfortunatly I wont have the space for such a big cooler in my Antec 900 case as the V8 in my OP just barely fits in this case.
thanx for the suggestion anyway
yeah I have read a few reviews for it and it seemed to be quite good but most mentioned the fan was not the best, if I was to get the V8 I would be replacing the fan with a Noctua if it's possible, also if i go for the Khuler i will be adding a 2nd fan to the rad for a push pull config.
any...

Coolermaster V8

according to the research i have done, Orochi is the die/architecture, name also known as a module featuring 2 x86 cores, this is simply duplicated on die to create 4, 6 & 8 core processors which is known as bulldozer or bulldozer could be the architecture name, im not 100% sure
i am currently running my old S939 cooler on my PII 560 unlocked to a quad and its not really cutting it with regards to temps when overclocking, currently running at sig settings gets about 57'c under hard load for hours, Ie prime, linx, 3dmarks, etc, but im also running only 2gb of Kingston...
hi just to add a bit more to this the Bulldozer module itself goes by the name Orochi right????
well lets take a look at these screenies first one from a previous CH4 Formula BIOS and one from the 3012 AM3+ test bios i have installed on mine
and mine
notice the name of the module version...
looks like the info was correct after all
http://event.asus.com/2011/mb/AM3_PLUS_Ready/
