    GTX 580 suggestions

    Just got the ASUS ROG gtx580 Matrix. Incredible card. Can't get it above 50c no matter how much I overclock it. And I can burn the profile so I don't have to load oc every time. Plus it has a reset switch in case I burn an oc that it can't handle.

    Actually I finally got 1080p over hdmi but only at 24hz. I guess that's just how the technology works. A friend of mine has an extra emitter and glasses so I will borrow the emitter to have 120hz refresh at 1080p.

    A friend of mine has a r.a.t. 7 with a problematic sensor. We tried a bunch of different mouse pads and the only one that worked with no problems was an xtrac pad with the hex design. I think it was an xtrac hammer.

    Problems with new 580 GTX - Video Crashes

    Monitor the gpu temperature. Perhaps some games stress the card more than others. Try underclocking the gpu a bit to seee if that helps.
