Just got the ASUS ROG gtx580 Matrix. Incredible card. Can't get it above 50c no matter how much I overclock it. And I can burn the profile so I don't have to load oc every time. Plus it has a reset switch in case I burn an oc that it can't handle.

Monitor the gpu temperature. Perhaps some games stress the card more than others. Try underclocking the gpu a bit to seee if that helps.

Do the Fermi cards really use Realtek? I read that the older nvidia cards did but they were only 2.1 for hdmi. I thought nvidia was using stream processors and software for the hdmai audio. I would like to know more about this technology. There is very little information even from nvidia.
