    The cpu fan is proprietary and if disconnected from the motherboard gives an error at startup but everthing else is atx standard.

    Well.. I kind of did something like this that I was unsure would work. I bought a moldex splitter that takes one moldex connector and spilts it into 2. I took that and plugged it into the pci-e adapter... so essentialy... the pci-e power connector is getting power from only one 4 pin moldex...

    I havent gotten a message that my card is not getting enough power... my temps are fine though... the nvidia temp monitor has my gpu at idle at 42c and loads dont go over 57c... its been running fine for about 1/2 an hour now... havent tried any gaming yet though. its odd that it didnt...

    I have not read that the build quality is poor, but for $99 it probably does not have the greatest parts out there. Although not really an issue of build quality I know the board does not include RAID opions, so that might be a negative.
