Imo, lighting on cases looks very cheesy... I know many of the modders on here are into it, but to me, it's the equivalent of massive spoilers, exhausts, and fog lights on cheap import cars.
I used a dremel to cut out the top area for the radgrill/fans, then I cut out a section of metal on the back side (not shown) so the atx power cable could fit. I don't hear/notice any vibrations with the cage.
I tried this actually. If you flip them around in the drive cage the way they are presently, they are too close to the backpanel and you can't fit the sata/power cables. Reversing the drive cages was nearly impossible because the screws didn't line up and wouldn't secure to the chassis...
