Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Eneloops are now on my shopping list.
Any idea how these are put together? what other parts/connections would I need?
I would imagine the set up would be similar to something like this:
If so, what kind of connector would I need? Are you guys able to tell from the pictures from the original...
Skillz, thanks for suggesting the batteries. Unfortunately I don't have the current pack anymore, can you explain what kind of internals I would need? What materials and if there is a DIY guide somewhere I may follow??
Thanks.
Hi [H],
I current own a rebranded TDK A360 wireless speaker. The battery died out awhile back and I have been searching for a replacement.
I found one off ebay, exactly pictured in the description (green), not the main photo (in blue). But if possible, I'd prefer to avoid buying refurbished...
hmm, sounds like I'll go with chromecast/fire stick. I'll do research and pick between those 2.
I'm a bit confused about Miracast. Do I need a 'miracast compatible' device like the Surface Pro 4 (win 10) along with a 'miracast compatible' TV ( HDMI dongle )?
Ideally, I'd have an SP4 to control and play videos/movies. And this "solution" would work for both my desktop in another room, and the SP4.
Walking to another room to start a movie or stream wouldn't be an issue for me though..
This thread is about mirroring, extending, and casting your screen to a TV. I think this falls under Computers & Gadgets, but if not, mods please move to the correct sub forum..
Hardware-wise, I have a old custom PC, hooked up with ethernet. Old laptop, planning on upgrading to Microsoft's SP4...
@Araxie, interesting suggestion! Turns out chrome already had the 'enable hardware acceleration' already on. I turned it off, reset, and got it back on. (a little IT trick :D), but no improvements.
I played 1080p and 1440p videos on both my monitors, tested it out on chrome and FF. Turns out...
Sorry guys, I haven't been able to respond as quickly.
But, I've been viewing these videos on youtube. One will be youtube, and the other may be from another embedded streaming player, or a quick gif, and such. This is running on the latest chrome browser, I'm on a different computer right now...
I have a fairly relevant GPU, nVidia 750ti
My CPU is pretty old, a Q6600@2.4GHz. But I was still surprised when I was running 2 monitors with 2 videos and it was lagging. For example I was watching a 2k video on one, and some gifs on another, and it would lag immensely,
CPU is definitely...
