Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

It's been a looong time, and I'm mostly out of the hardware game. But I still remember where to go for advice. :)
So, I currently have a Sabertooth P67 with an i7@4.4GHz with dual GTX570s. I'm thinking about upgrading to dual 780s, but I'm worried about the mobo. Will the P67 bottleneck a...
So, been out of the game for a while (almost 4 years). So I'm not current on what is acceptable in regards to temps. I just built a new system that will hopefully last me another long while.
My build:
i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz (44x100)
Corsair H50 liquid cooler
Asus Sabertooth P67 mobo
16G (4x4G)...
Cool thing about Electric motors is their absolutely FLAT torque curve. From 0RPM to 'redline' you have 100% of your torque available to your right foot. :) Plus with the high RPM capabilities of electric motors, changing gears is almost unneccesary (I can see the use of multiple gears to...
If the iPod did *anything* (which is debateable) all it probably did was start the process of stripping the jacket off the round.
The real answer won't be found without a LOT of time and money which noone would invest on such a simple story.
But overall, it's a great story, and I'm glad...
Microsoft changed the lisencing for OEM copies of Vista. The old loophole of purchasing an internal floppy drive to comply is no longer an option. The agreement now states that an OEM copy must be sold with a new "fully assembled computer." :(
As for the article, I think MS also realizes...
Just a note, MS has changed the liscencing for OEM versions. It used to be that all you needed was to buy a floppy drive to qualify for an OEM copy of XP. Now it clearly states that the OEM versoin must be sold with a new, fully assembled machine. :(
This could be taken to mean that the 8800 will not work for XP or previous OSes. This seems to be a silly thing for Nvidia to do, so I'll lay my money on backwards compatibility, but I'm still not sure. Any confirmation that the 8800 will work on XP?
I just put together my new system which includes an Athlon X2 4400+ in an ASUS A8N32-SLI mobo, using Arctic 5 goop. I've been playing with the ASUS Si booster overclocking utility and have bumped it up to 2.5 GHz. The utility reports that I'm running at 44c, but in another thread someone said...
You know what I find rather.. chuckle-worthy? All the comments on Quad-SLI being too much money and bad price/performance. When nVidia ressurrected SLI, these were the same arguments about just 2 cards. Yet, it seems like half the posters in this thread have SLI now, and I think even a couple...
I'm currently working witha friend to build him a computer. He wants to have a 4-drive RAID 5 array for his system. We chose the ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe. SO far he has been unable to get it to boot to the RAID 5 array. Searching the web has found nothing about this, so he called ASUS. When...
RAM could make a big difference int hat as well.. In EQ2, the more RAM you had, the faster the zone load times went. However, BF2 is more dependant on Drive system. On a recent informal survey, those with faster drives spend less time verifying at the end of a map load. I have dual Raptors in...
