YAHMFAMT (Yet Another Help Me Find A Mouse Thread)

Here are a couple popular ones, the Logitech G700 which as TESLA pointed out can run wired (you'll probably love the wireless anyway) or the Razer Imperator (wired Razer Mamba, more flashy) or there's always the very budget friendly MX518/MX500 series replacement, the tried and true Logitech...

Mx518... how can I fix this thing?

I've replaced both my MX Revolution's microswitches. It's doable, but the space to work with inside (especially desoldering) was kinda tricky. It's probably just more worthwhile to buy another one.

    Which Cherry MX switch?

I just returned my Rosewill RK9000 with browns because it squeaked from stiff keys, let me know how it goes!

    Cordless Mouse good for gaming?

I've used the MX Anywhere (wow it's cheap now) for gaming on my laptop before and it's as much as I can hope for as a portable MX revolution. So yes, it's good for (portable) gaming or those with smaller hands or like smaller mice.

Where to buy Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition / Majestouch-2 with Red Switches?

I only see MX browns and blacks at Amazon. :\

    Which Cherry MX switch?

I was in a similar situation, I think browns are definitely the way to go for you as they will give you the most bang for your buck in the applications you use most. From cheapest to most expensive: Das Silent Ducky DK9008G2-B Filco Majestouch-2

Best headphones for GAMING and MUSIC

While the price dropped recently on the HD 598, I have to say that the HD 558 are the same drivers and sound very close the the more expensive HD 598. The only difference is the grill and covering inside the cans like the HD 555/595 which could be modded based on your preference. I love my HD...

    Cordless Mouse good for gaming?

It comes with batteries, but if you want to keep it running wireless at all times, then pick up an extra set of Eneloop AA bateries (~$10 and maybe a charger if you don't have one) and you'll be good forever.. But really, since it's a hybrid that can run with a cord, it's $70 at Amazon :p. The...

    large "plain" mouse pads?

Well, if you want a plain one, the QCK+ is a good (and also cheap) solution for a nice big surface. I've used both and prefer the softer surface. It feels better on your hand/wrist and seems to have a wider compatibility with more mice. I haven't found a mouse that doesn't work on a cloth pad...

To all the Q6600 out there.

Yeah, I play on 64 player large conquest servers. I was playing on 1600x1200. I just got a new 30", so that may be a different story... lol. Same graphics card setup with a single 560Ti? That seems like that's what is holding you back.

To all the Q6600 out there.

ha! I've been thinking about upgrading to a 2600k or something similar, but I really see no point in upgrading. I've been rocking the Q6600 and 8GB of RAM on my p5k deluxe (P35) since August 2007, when the G0 stepping first came out. It's been running great at 3.4 Ghz. Even with the games I...

    Dell U3011 coming soon.

I bought my 2007FP before my 30" when my 24" Samsung died and I didn't have enough money for the 30 yet. But it's definitely nice having the 20" in portrait in conjunction to the 30"

    Dell 3007WFP-HC feels hot, normal?

I just got a 3007WFP-HC and I noticed that on the back, top portion, it gets quite hot. On the back, the hottest part I was able to measure was 120°F on the Dell logo and the screen is about 105-115ºF (hotter towards the top). To compare, my 2007FP next to it tops out in the upper 90°s with...

    Which Mechanical Keyboard?

I got 4 on each of my monitors, so usb ports aren't a necessity for me. I have more than I know what to do with to be honest. Wish I had usb 3 though!
