Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Can I put 2x1GB chips with 4-4-4-15 timing in an Asus P5W DH Deluxe that already has 2x1GB 4-5-4-15 timing chips?
In other words, I have these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227089

would like to add these...
It seems as though the heatspreaders on my OCZ Platinum XTC chips have warped over time and are peeling away from the RAM.
Is this anything to be concerned with or should I simply call OCZ for replacement? These were used chips I received in a cpu/mobo/ram/vid card package from another...
I agree with waiting for the i5/i7 build... think about it, if you go Quad now, you will still go with an i5/i7 (or better) later. Might as well just wait a couple months and go right to the end product.
You can order just the pins. I bustimicated a pushpin on my AC Freezer 7 Pro and found them on their website.

I ordered 5 sets since they only cost $0.90, but $3.00 to ship.
Check if you have proxy servers enabled in your Internet Options.
Could be DNS issues... can you ping the problem websites? Can you browse to them via IE by using their IP address?
so 1 pc plugged directly into the modem gives you the same issue as everything going through the router?
(no switches/hubs/etc in between, right?)
Have you made sure your NIC drivers are up to date?
I have a feeling the encryption between the router and your nic is hosing you up.
Try turning off WPA-PSK and put the router in non-broadcast SSID mode and use a MAC filter for connection... see if that keeps you connected.
