    Northbridge Temp on DS3

This is probably a really easy answer but can anyone tell me how to find the Northbridge temp on my Gigabyte DS3? The only possible option in Everest in "Motherboard Temp" but it's so low it just doesn't seem right.

e6400 and Scythe Ninja B hotter than I'd like

Don't even think about overclocking yet. Your temps are still way too high, in my opinion. The Antec Sonatas (I have one) are notoriously bad for airflow, so make sure you have a fan in the front and a fan in the back. Again, make sure your heatsink fan is not touching the northbridge...

e6400 and Scythe Ninja B hotter than I'd like

    1. Make sure your fans aren't fighting each other--airflow all in one direction 2. Lap your CPU and heatsink 3. Clear out case clutter Those temps aren't horrible but definitely not overclockable if you're hitting 60C at stock with a full load. I would make very sure your fans are all...

    continuous reboot

A reboot-loop without posting could be almost anything--low voltage, incorrect RAM timings, bad PSU... My DS3 reboots like that when it doesn't like my OC settings, eventually returning to default settings. I would try upping your core voltage. You never told us what your FSB was, either.

Choosing the right memory for the new system

Either way, that's a beautiful case. I've had great luck with my G.Skill RAM but some people hate it.

DS3 Voltage Reading (Where is it?)

Yes, I know about that. But it still doesn't tell you in the BIOS what voltage you're running, just "default voltage".

Well, Speedfan aside, I guess this is considered a stable overclock, eh?

Is it really necessary if I'm idling at 30C just using the mobo control?
