Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Can someone please explain to me how CPU-Z is seeing my htt at 277, yet it is showing my mem at 263? I'm at 9.5x276 ddr400(1:1)... htt multi @ 3x... this makes no sense, thanks.
Make sure Wake on Lan is disabled in bios. Also I have worked on a couple computers that had a similar problem, but wouldn't go away untill I got rid of all spyware/virii or reformatted windows :(
I would reccomend logitech products also. The have yet to let me down. I have experienced that "jumping" problems from all makes and model, some worse that others, but it seems to be limited to optical mice. I'm guessing its from dust between the light and the surface. I use an mx1000 and...
I wouldn't be too confident in that PSU... it may not be your problem, but I wouldn't rule it out that quickly. How close are the rails to spec (under load)? And what are you using to monitor them? A nice multimeter, or the mobo monitoring software? Also what is the fluxation like?
On the top of each peg, there is a 1/4 circle arrow. The direction the arrow is pointing, is the way you turn it to remove it, so make sure when you are going to press it in, that it is not in the release position. Hmmm... I think I may have complicated the issue... Wish I wasn't too lazy to...
Hmmm, In my opinion, here is how you should set it up.... Ideally you would have an exahust fan high on the rear of the case (or even on top), intake fan low on the front of the case, and the cpu fan blowing down towards the cpu. My reasoning is this: Hot air rises, so most of the hot air...
Yeah, I wouldn't worry much about the orientation if you can only fit it one way... I'm guessing it's the fan that is causing your temp issues. Also, for a prescott core, 66c doesn't seem to be "you better shut down" range... On stock cooling they can easily hit 70c in a room that has 80f...
How are you sure it's "not putting out a video signal?" Sounds like a no POST. Does it load into windows? Like you see IDE activity then hear the windows chime, but see nothing?
thats pretty surprising... If you have an LCD monitor and want to play at native resolution (1024x768, 1280x1024), It will be hard to keep a good frame rate in Ironforge (If you aren't horde ;p).
