Exactly this. You can't just go charging in and hope for the best. You have to plan your attack and take advantage of your surroundings. Tag the bots you are attacking to concentrate on them 1 by 1. I grinded a bit for my 3 arrow shot, and I'm...

How do you use stealth on ultra hard? Are you slowly picking away at them while hiding and then changing hiding spots and waiting for them to stop looking for you?

I both disabled shader cache, rebooted, removed files and sometimes just deleted what I could without disabling, both forced the game to rebuild shaders, neither were a long-term solution for me.

I'm well past this part, didn't have hitching there and still don't have any 10+ hours later. Easy solution: Wipe and re-install Windows. ;) I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of GPU driver bug associated with this game. Lots of people...

As much as I loved Skyrim back in the day I'm not really excited about Bethesda dropping another game using the Creation Engine.

There's an easy fix... ...Stop charging a subscription to play online. Immediately MS will have a marketable reason for people to flock from Sony's Playstation network to Microsoft's Xbox network. Furthermore, it shouldn't be as painful for MS...

1 hour of gameplay at the start at 5160x2160 flicking between DLAA and DLSS Quality: https://youtu.be/_rdeh23BDFE But I think I prefer 3440x1440 DLAA/DLSS as the base framerate is obviously higher so panning camera motion is smoother...

I ended up doing a clean install of Windows 11, wiped the OS drive and re-installed most stuff, and the game ran flawlessly for two hours before I quit playing. I went through a few areas and cut scenes, so I think I put it through its paces. I...

It's an i7-9700K, 32GB RAM, RTX3090 (24GB VRAM), PCIe SSDs running at 3.0 speeds. The CPU is on the low-ish side (their minimum / recommended is i3-8100 / i5-8600), but CPU utilization is around 70% and GPU is around 70% with the game capped at...

Welcome to the club. Last of Us runs fine here, albeit I need to turn down some things, but it otherwise runs smooth. My drives aren't encrypted, I'm about to start removing software that might be resident (Citrix Workspace, Logitech, NZXT) to...

I've played for 10 hours and can say they did a good job. It seems that all features of the Dual Sense controller work, even the speaker; I've only used it hardwired, can't say how it performs wireless. I'm still running into weird stutter after...

I somehow solved my stutter / hitching issue. I'm not really sure what I did, but I did go into NVCP and the new Nvidia app and reset the main GPU settings to defaults. I also forced RBAR support via Nvidia Profile Inspector. After a reboot, I...

Regarding DLSS etc^^ Here were my findings, DLAA vs DLSS (3440x1440 & 5160x2160): https://imgsli.com/MjQ5MzEz (do not compare the 3440 res ones with 5160 res as I have not rescaled the 5160 so when you zoom in with both side by side, the 3440...

i7-9700K, RTX3090, PCIe SSD here, I know I'm pushing it, but it seems to run fairly well cranked up, however, I noticed I had some hitching. I typically have a 98FPS cap set and force vsync on via NVCP or ProfileInspector, I also set my display...

I'm on an old Gigabyte Z390 motherboard (+ i7-9700K) with an EVGA RTX3090, NZXT Kraken X cooler, and G.Skill RGB RAM (because there wasn't a non-RGB option at the time), and the only thing that Windows 11 seems to natively support RGB for is my...

Yeah, kinda of a bummer RTX HDR doesn't work on a multi-monitor setup; hopefully they'll fix that one quickly.

This heap is $9.79 on Steam. I'm only calling it a heap based on the complaining I see on its Steam forum. I figure this is bargain bin pricing for what's supposed to be a triple-A game, so I bought it. Will report back if I rage because I read...
