Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I managed to get my hands on an R9 290 right before the prices went through the ceiling and I've been LTC mining for quite a while on it.
I've got about $650 at today's exchange rate ($16 approx), although that was much higher a few days ago ($20 or so I think). I've never really used LTC...
Hi,
I'm currently running an i7-4770k at 4.8GHz and 1.33V, and I'm switching to the Bitfenix Prodigy M. I was talking with a friend the other day, and he said he'd had nothing but bad experiences overclocking on Gigabyte motherboards. Since I have such an extreme overclock, I'd like to know -...
The Enthoo Prime looks great! I'll hold out for some reviews on it, I definitely like the look of it.
I know what you mean about the Cosmos II, it seems too.. "round", almost.
The Corsair 900D seems amazing, but 350$ for a case? Damn... Still, considering this is the part of the computer...
Hi!
I'm running 2 way SLI GTX 760s and I have big space problems with my HAF 912 case, mostly because I have a semi modular PSU and it's essentially full of cables, but also because of my NZXT Kraken liquid cooler - on the HAF 912 it can only be mounted to the side panel (it's 140mm), which...
Ah, I see. Sorry, I don't generally put $ signs in mathematics, that's why I said that.
He's at work right now (he's on night shift) so I haven't purchased anything yet. To be fair he's leaning towards the 660s. It'd be better to get a 680 but I have no clue where people are getting those...
I have a decent amount of the build in front of me - a 64GB Samsung SSD (which are dirt cheap nowadays). an ASUS motherboard, and an FX8350. But he already has 8GB RAM which I can probably convince him is enough and a HDD so really it *just about* fits into budget.
I never said it would...
Hi!
My uncle is building a new PC, and is on a budget. Basically, he wants to play Battlefield 3 at full ultra settings no problem - which I know both of these cards will do, maybe not at 120 but close - and he's running an 120Hz monitor. He would like to SLI two of them.
I'm running two 760...
The CPU speed fluctuates a decent amount between 4875 and 4776. I know it's not a big difference but it's just being able to say the processor runs at 5GHz really.
I'll keep it at 4875 for a while but if that starts to be a problem then I'll lower it a little. I hope you can set multipliers in...
I'm not saying they won't do it, I'm just saying it all adds up. It's like when you hear about people (the Fort Hood shooter in this example) that get convicted for 13 counts of murder when you don't possibly need more than 1 count of murder to get a conviction.
You don't need to wait until the attack is over, I'm presuming they can view their network and system processes whilst its running... I can use the "top" command on linux so why can't they do the same with their network to see where everything is going live?
With the low level access they...
OK, well if that's how it works, then you're always sending it to the same phone. And to send it to the phone you have to know the ESN, kind of like you have to know a computers IP address to send information to it.
Phone says "it's me" and radio tower sends communication to phone that said...
I'm going to assume the GSM protocol uses IMEI and ESN authentication when it connects one mobile to another, not just when the devices tries to register on the network. I presume this is how the GSM protocol works, as if it doesn't then that would be a huge oversight by the protocol designers...
First off - I'm running an i7-4770k with an ASUS Z-87A motherboard and a NZXT Kraken X40 CPU cooler.
For about 6 days now I've been running at 5GHz no problem. Last night, I installed a Windows update. Once I rebooted, my system booted fine... but I do Folding@Home on my desktop when idle, so...
They did this to my parents a few years back when we cancelled (it was AOL Broadband UK, however). It was a stupid argument on the rep's side however, since we were moving countries and selling the house!
My first email address was an AOL one however, I think I might log into there just to see...
