Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've been getting a lot of DJ Mixes from friends that are about 1 hour in length on average. Is there a program for the mac that will let me split the mix into individual tracks so that when I burn the set into a CD I can skip songs without having to fast fwd?
I know how to do this manually...
Installing the following plug-ins, will guarrantee playback of pretty much any video format.

Flip 4 Mac
And of course, if everything else fails, there's always VLC Media Player.
I just got my new MBP yesterday. I bought it being aware of the issues with the lcd screen and wireless probless. I'm experiencing minor screen flicker. But no wireless issues at all. So far very happy with the purchase. I read on appleinsider days ago that the issue has been recognized by...
I figured there'd be very little improvement. Thanks for all the replies.
I'm sure it's the new revised notebook with the penryn processor. The listed price is 2499.00 just like at the Apple store. But they have a small discount, plus a $150.00 mail in rebate. You don't pay taxes with...
I'm biting the bullet soon and getting a macbook pro 15.4" 2.5Ghz. I know the upgrade otption to a 7200rpm HDD is only $50.00. However, with taxes, the total cost is just over $2750.00 fromt the Apple store. On Amazon.com, I can get it with the standard 5400rpm HDD for $2320.00 after rebate...
I was looking at the Dells. But I was going for affordable. I didn't see a matte option for the inspirons. I've been to all the local electronics stores, and they have nothing but glossy stuff. Except Apple. At Best Buy and Fry's, all the macbooks they got on display, all had matte screens...
Besides apple that is. I hate glossy screens. I'm trying to get a laptop, but it seems that every manufacturer offers glossy screens only. I can't afford a macbook pro at this time. So a decent windows machine will do for now. Any suggestions for new laptops without mirrors as screens?
I just installed it. Motherboard will recognize it, and it is displayed in the device manager list under Other Devices. But I can't see it in the explorer window. When I go to Computer, all I see is the C: drive. But no cd-rom. Any tips on how to fix this?
The Core Duo Minis only support 2gb. The new Core 2 Duo ones support 3gb max, but with Leopard installed, it will recognize the 4gigs if that's what he gets.
I have a bunch of video files that I'd like to convert to wmv format and others to mov. Is there a good app out there for OS X that is either free or I can buy?
There's a couple of places you can go. In Oceanside, right next to vista's west side, there's a Best Buy that has an Apple section in it. Or, to vista's east side, is San Marcos. There's a Fry's store there. Don't know what their return policies are on Apple products. Also, there are 3...
