I doubt it can be done. Nobody in their entire development company had anything to do with BF1942, BF2, BF2142, and probably very few were around for BF 3 and 4. I actually bet $$ that nobody in these studios has even played a BF game released before 2014. These aren't gamers that enjoy the...

I would just ask that they grab a DVD copy of BF2 and 2142, play it for a few months, learn everything about those games, then add the destruction of BC2 and additional gameplay of BF4, and then just mash it all together with a real BF fan base approving each decision. In reality, we'll get...

LG - 48" Class A2 Series OLED $550 at best buy

It depends on your purpose. For my situation they're perfect. 60hz is more than I'll need for 4k (x3) and there's no perceptible difference above 60hz in racing games. If it was for an FPS, sure, probably worth it to spend double on Gsync and 120hz.

LG - 48" Class A2 Series OLED $550 at best buy

Picked up 3 for my new racing sim rig. Should work well for their purpose I think.

    Battlefield 2042

I've gotta say, when the only positive is "it's playable", you know the franchise has hit rock fucking bottom. Any worse and they'd have a class action lawsuit aimed at them for selling an unusable product... That's as bad as it can possibly get for a game.

    Battlefield 2042

The franchise is going to die with this terrible game. EA is probably happy that the player count is basically just people who recently bought the game without understanding its condition. Imagine their delight at having to run maybe a dozen ec2 instances to support what is left of the...

    Battlefield 2042

LOL, they might be the most gifted trolls I've ever seen.

    Battlefield 2042

Honestly I think they have one or two managers that must be absolutely hateful to work with and are compulsive and manipulative liars. If they aren't just trolling, it's hard to fathom management at DICE being decent human beings. Every single day there is another bit of info either from DICE...

They made a non binary specialist. That takes time. Geez man, get a grip.

    Battlefield 2042

I stopped playing the game specifically because the trans black woman's beanie couldn't be worn on the cringe white man who says all the stupid shit between rounds. As far as I'm concerned, game on.

    Battlefield 2042

Hard to fathom that is the issue. BF2 had voip at the very latest. 2005, and my home broadband was barely hitting 1MB/s, an Athlon 3500+, 1GB of RAM, and it was a better experience in terms of lag and hit reg... With 64 players, VOIP in game, and running teamspeak also.

    Battlefield 2042

Either way it was a hell of a game. Hanoi with that bomber in the pond, Hueys blasting ride of the Valkyries. Better than anything made in the past 8-9 years for sure.

    Battlefield 2042

VOIP was native to BF2, and it may have been in 1942/Vietnam. All these missing things have been around for at LEAST 17 years. That means most of the interns that developed this game were about 3 years old when these features were considered as basic and necessary as keyboard and mouse support.

This; couldn't have said it any better.

    Battlefield 2042

The rocket exploding is cool, but no better than things like the skyscraper in Siege of Shanghai. Also it rarely explodes or launches. The beta was even better in this regard. And other than slightly different surroundings on that flag after the launch or explosion, it's just a gimmick.
