Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Likewise. I calibrated mine with a Spyder2 on the Standard setting and it was still a bit too yellow/green for my taste. Recalibrated on the Multimedia setting and it looks good now. I upgraded from a DoubleSight DS-263N, so I'm still getting used to the less oversaturated colors. Love the...
I've been hesitant to give up my Sennheiser HD590 cans for a new headset -- I love the sound and don't really want to throw down another $2-300 for a comparable set with a mic. This looks like a great compromise. Will have to check this out.
Definitely agree with the iPod at the #1 spot...the bladeless fan and the iTrip, not so much.
And technically, 2009 isn't the last year of this decade. :D
1 frame -- maybe, maybe not; it depends on how sensitive you are to lag. In my opinion 2 frames is noticeable and requires quite a bit of getting used to. You can adjust to it, but I personally would rather play FPS games on a display with 1 frame of lag or less (the lower the better, obviously).
How do those Usher monitors compare to DefTech StudioMonitor 350s? Both are in the same price range. I read over at AVSForum that the DefTech 350s are good for gaming.
Those look very nice, but they're a bit too large for my taste. Would like something no larger physically than the ELT525Ms if there is something in that range that would be a good fit for gaming (primarily) and music (secondarily).
I have a fair amount of room on my desk for speakers, but I'd like to stick to something no larger than monitors (for aesthetic reasons more than anything). I'm not really interested in getting a new receiver when I have one that works well.
As far as budget goes for the speakers -- the...
Hi all,
Like the subject line says, I have a set of Klipsch Promedia 2.1s that I've been using for several years now. I've been satisfied with the sound, but I want something with better sound. I have an old Sony 333ES reciever that has been gathering dust, so I figured I could put it to...
It backfired for me as well. I was planning to pick this up on release day, but now I'm going to hold off. If they change the DRM policy to be more forgiving about reinstallation, I may reconsider.
I've owned 5 different eVGA cards over the past several years, and I've never had any problems with them: FX5900, 6800GT, 7800GTX, 8800GTX and 8600GT. The latter three cards are still in use and going strong. You really can't go wrong with either manufacturer, though.
