I had a HD 5770 for a long time performed well in BFBC2 at 1680 X 1050 with settings close to max paired with a Phenom II X4 965BE at 3.4GHz and 8GB of DDR3-1333 CAS 9

7.6 in Win 7 64 ult 8GB kit of G.Skill DDR3-1333 CAS 9 1.5V Haven't ran it since adding 2 more sticks and changing to CAS 7 though

dual channel is usually better, but If you wanna make a ram disk I would go for capacity and that would mean higher density sticks.
