I have an SER4 with Ryzen 7 4700U. Replaced the TIM myself, but even before that the fan noise was never an issue. I've used it as a dedicated Satisfactory server for a 3-player game and never had a hiccup. It does get warm and stay warm, but CPU temps never rise to worrisome levels. I...
Pixel 5 here. Bought it in mid-2022 on Swappa. Have since replaced the battery with the iFixit kit, and installed a new screen after a bad drop. I'm on LineageOS 22.2 (Android 15) and haven't bothered to update it to LOS 16. I do plan to try Evolution X next, as you're supposed to be able to...
I'm looking to buy a projector to display an image up to 12 feet diagonal, onto the wall in my new apartment. I'm considering getting a screen but let's start with the projector.
1080p would be preferred, but 720p would probably be fine too, I guess.
I am not sure whether 3-LCD or DLP is...
I have an input question for the fp241vw, as I just got one. There is a headphone jack, but no aux-in. What is the point of having a headphone jack then? Is it for like, if you plug a DVD player in through the HDMI, will the headphone jack just output whatever audio comes in through the HDMI...
I guess I'll go with the VW then. Thanks for your opinions guys!
So with the VGA adapter, will it stretch the 1080p image from an Xbox 360 across the 1200 pixels? How about with just the HDMI input, is there a way to have the 360's image NOT stretched if I use it to play the 360 on?
I really want a glossy screen, and something I can hook a 260 up to. I realize I can hook up a 360 to the Topaz by using the Xbox 360 HDMI cable and adapting it to DVI where it plugs into the Topaz. But I want a glossy screen!
The fp241vw is out of production from what I understand. Is there...
I bought a 22 incher from Newegg for a computer I built for a buddy. It had one stuck pixel (red) near the middle of the screen and was infernally irritating. We returned it and they exchanged it!
I thought the FP241W was a S-PVA monitor?
How do you guys feel about this model vs. W241D? I am looking for a 24 inch S-PVA monitor with HDMI, and a glossy screen.
Hmm, I'm not seeing refurbished PVA screens at Tiger.
Where can I get one of these W241D or FP241W monitors in the US? All I can find is UK websites selling them.
(edit) there's this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824185005 $400 for a PVA
Yeah absolutely, those definitely qualify (at least in my mind) as affordable. I'm looking for monitors with 8-bit panels though. I'll go ahead and sift through those, see if any have that.
(edit) Yeah, those all look like TN panels. I found the FP241W and W241D though, which look fantastic...
