Hey guys,
I currently have a G5 (blue version) and a QcK+ mousepad and I'm really happy with the performance of both. I'm looking for a new mouse and more importantly a new mousepad.
Not much to say about the G5, just a good mouse after having used ball and optical mice previously - maybe a...
Tinting is much worse I say, I don't even notice the anti-glare sparkle all that much at all - and at least it's uniform. If I'm reading left justified text on a light background my eyes instantly recognize that the region is ever so slightly 'colder' / more blue/green than the rest of the...
Hey guys, I wish to make my voice heard about the tinting issue. I know it won't help much and I'm not looking for a replacement, but I still want them to know there are disappointed customers out there. The last thing I want to do is have my complaint fall on deaf ears, does anyone have a good...
Yo, I'm here to let you guys know that tinting issues suck, and they aren't fixed yet so don't to convince people they are. My new display came today, A01 assembled in Mexico this month. No noticeable pink tint, but a bit of green for sure, which makes my 2209WA with perfect uniformity look that...
This thread rules, I love browsing it every few days to see some sick setups. It has taught me that you must have a nice camera, a nice setup and a nice bright room to be successful in life. You get bonus points for being creative with your images and / or display mounting arrangement and by...
What do you mean? The phones and my GoVibe I posted about before.
Everything else is new. bought the 0404 usb and the KICAS prototype amp a couple weekends ago, and a buddy from head-fi did the cables for me. Sounds a million times better than my Audigy 2. Yesterday I also found an old junky...
Completely agree. But they're a good company. I had already ordered a pair of SR60s when I needed to cancel after I was able to get a much better deal through a friend who works for PSB/NAD for some SR80s. I would be pissed for paying almost double if I had, and now that I know the price...
After 2 weeks of listening to my SR80s I've found that they are killer painful. The pads aren't the issue, in fact, they've been breaking in (still not 100%, but I can listen for about 2 hours before having to take a break.) Rather, it's the insane piercing -- yet extremely detailed -- treble...
Hmm... yeah, it's hard to tell what the source level is at considering it's a shuffle, but I don't want to max it or even push it much considering distortion and battery wasteage.
With my sound card I keep it at a similar level with source at around 60-80%.
Did you think it was just...
Well I decided I might as well go for it, and I'm happy with the result. I did notice that people singing 's' sounds are EXTREMELY annoying and distorted! So weird, hopefully it goes away with burn in.
edit: Only happens if they scream it... heh...
Oh, and it's also a lot smaller than it...
I went over to my friends earlier today. He has an external creative card -- but I don't know which, something a little older. Through his stereo's amp there was greater punctuation, certainly at higher volumes (I guess this was all assumed). His two systems over all created pretty high noise...
Of course it's adequate. I haven't heard anything better to date -- but I'm always willing to make improvements. Many people say the SR80s sound a lot better with an amp, and a couple pages back on this thread somebody has their portapros hooked into a cmoy.
So yeah... any suggestions would...
Hey, I'm new to hardforum. I signed up specifically for this thread!
I'm pretty entry level with my Koss PortaPros and Grado SR80s. My source is an Audigy 2 and an ipod.
I have a few questions. First, is my source really that bad? Is it not worth getting an amp with it, at least for the...
