Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
That was just MS doing damage control. Right now, they have Gears on the 360 to sell, so that's how they're disseminating their PR.
Gears WILL be on the PC, with a very high probability that it will be in less than 12 months.
:(
Pretty sad that people have to dedicate measurable ROOM space to their consoles now, considering the part of the lure of consoles is supposed to be "straightforward gaming".
You've got to be kidding me...
I suppose Rainbow Six: Vegas is just a heavily modded UT2007, too.
Newflasharoo: you can't mod something that's not even done.
I don't feel like writing a whole review, but basically, 9.2/10. Player modeling could have been better, but other than that, graphics are great and so is gameplay. Checkpoint save system is a little too unforgiving IMO.
Actually, I've seen where people have basically needed a crowbar to pry the two apart because they've melted together.
Over the long term, the Intercooler damages the system.
It's a shame they haven't updated the design to use an external power source, because the Intercooler is said to...

This is a tech board with passionate members. You can't expect 100% civil conversation 100% of the time... that is, unless you want a very, very boring board.
First of all, your experiences are that of one person. Your problems with the Gamecube, etc., are the exception, not the rule. The problems with the 360, on the other hand, are widespread. Almost every person I run into on XBL has either had one go dead on them or knows someone whose did...
I've resorted to raising my 360 off my desk by putting 7 jewel cases at each corner. I've also taped a pelican fan stand to the bottom of it (but the console is horizontal).
It's a ridiculous freaking solution that absolutely should not be necessary, but the heat coming out of the rear seems...
Had a 2nd gen model go bad after about 4 months. It was out in the open with as much ventilation as I could possibly give it, but it overheated and gave me the 3 red lights. The 360 is officially the ONLY piece of electronics/hardware that I've fried.
The problem is that the unit isn't...
Buy your console from a reputable store that also offers a good extended warranty. 360's are burning up left and right so make sure you protect yourself. For $50 for two years, you cant go wrong. Make sure you policy lets you just walk in with the broken one and walk out with the new one...
Yep. I enjoy gaming, but if I made a career out of it, I'd be killing a hobby of mine and I'd end up hating work AND my hobby.
Music on the other hand, is something I obsess about. It's more than a passion, and if I was surrounded by it 24x7x365, it wouldn't phase me a bit... which is why...
