Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I guess nobody here has any clue, because nobody seems to be answering.
I've got one reply this whole time and that response didn't seem to have an
answer for AMD but only Intel.
I thought this site was one of the best on the net for these kinds of issues
related to PC's but so far not...
You need to have two SATA drives in order for windows to detect
RAID during installation of windows?
I have one SATA drive and the CMOS doesn't detect the drive.
CMOS only detects CD/DVD ROM and Floppy but not the single
SATA I have installed.
I installed an IDE HDD and then out of...
Ahhhh? no...
there is no AHCI mode in the bios that I can see.
(On the Intel side you set the SATA mode to "compatible" and the controller to IDE.)
what? sata recognized or set in bios as ide?
I told a friend about a deal on geeks.com and he purchased it...
I am trying to install Windows XP 64bit Edition onto an AMD64 3200
and a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3200827AS.
I have yet to work with both a SATA drive and a 64bit CPU system.
I'm having a problem getting the installation to recognize the drive.
Using a floppy with device drivers on it...
Didn't know such a section existed here or I would of posted this there.
General Hardware sounded close enough to me.
I don't even know what GenMay means or ment untill you tipped me off
to it's existance. It must mean game sys. Doesn't matter to me anyway.
What has the world come to?
The stupidity of humanity, I'm sorry but a game system is not
worth a human life by far.
Idiots stabbing, robbing and in some cases killing each other
while standing in line for yet another highly over priced
game system.
This is...
Ahhhh, Thanks Kirbyrj now I understand it.
Wow, 488 would be 1952 FSB, very nice.
Thanks again for helping to understand the points I misunderstand. :)
Yup, looks like the eVGA 680i is the one for me.
That and the Kentsfield QX6700
1333FSB, One review stated "need I say more"
2x PCIe x16, 1x PCIe x8 for physics at 46 lanes, very bonus.
FirstPacket... who needs Killer NIC, he he heh.
SLi ready memory support at 1200MHz, Jesus Man!
3gb...
I've looked at these boards,
P5W DH
AW9D-Max
eVGA 680i
Asus P5N32-E SLI
just can't for the life of me figure out which I need for my application.
Hard Core Gaming w/SLi or CrossFire, hasn't quite figured them apart yet.
ease of OCing to MAX capability and the ability to upgrade to...
Does the ASUS P5N32-E support dual 16x PCIe with the same gfx cards?
To me that sounds like a dumb question but I just want to make sure I can
get 16x/16x with dual 8800GTX and not 16x/8x or 16x/4x.
So with this e6600 I can OC from 2.4GHz up to 3.7 with (PCC) and that would
be the...
Ahhhh....
Thanks,
I will continue this conversation on the other thread instead of having two
threads discussing much of the same stuff. I will revert back to this thread
when discussing the 9.6" x 9.6" though.
Thanks.
Both CrossFire & SLi are new Technologies that I'm not quite yet
completely familiar with.
Is one better than the other?
I'm assuming PCIe means PCI Express, and with that I'm also
assuming that 16x would be better than 8x and at least one of
these boards you've suggested does support...
