    best way to shorten ARGB cables

    Use a cable tie is easiest. But if you are any good soldering or crimping that is one way of doing it. Me? I rather just use a cable tie or two.

    Why don't PC cases have 5.25" external drive bays anymore?

    Am sure this has already been answered(don't have time to read all 220 posts at the moment) but hardly anyone uses an optical drive. Well maybes for watching or ripping DVDs. 5.25" drive USB enclosures are available.

    You probably be better off and spending a bit more than $30 on a case. The Corsair Air 540 is a nice compact case. Look on eBay, maybes there is one going second hand?

    I may in the future upgrade to 256gb for windows install. Already have an old sata 2 60gb ssd that i sometimes use as storage.
