how much does the usb3.0 quickpower slots provide, because they are always on sockets. if they provide the12v, then you could just wire into them. Saying you have the quickcharge 3.0 usb that is. look into it :) My only help to ya :(

win8 > 7, no reason to downgrade 8.1 will fix the people who don't like metro screen @ boot, and honestly metro screen is same as the start button win7: windows key - opens start menu + type what you want to open ie win+ word = microsoft word win8 windows key - opens metro screen + type...

Unless there's some other need to have and external NAS or Server like having it be your home server/media box, I would just throw in the drives in your machine now, maybe a raid 1/5/10/6 whatever fits your need/redundancy needs. (onboard intel raid does 1/5 very well) I run this kind of setup...

Why give up windows runs great on lots of hardware. OS X isn't any better of an OS, I use all three on a daily basis. Though the OS X use is only for my personal laptop and only because it was free, I will never be buying a apple computer personally. Overpriced machines with limited hardware...

interface in desktop mode is very aero similar/ metro is growing on me. hit win key type what app you want very easy. Maybe slower if your a pure mouse user, even then you can setup metro to give you easy access. and Win 8 is faster, cant really complain. hope everyone jumped on the 15 dollar...

Microsoft finally getting smart and directing upgrades. Apple does this and nobody complains, but when Microsoft kills win98 support during win7 its end of the world. There is no reason not to run win8 if your on vista or 7, win8 doesn't break compatibility. And cost really isn't a issue either...

Google has been tracking everyones gmail/ every search you do since day 1 (and if you search when logged in its tied to you username+ip) android tracks everything apple + iphone is also tracking everyone Steam network tracks computer setups and installed games.. tracking is everywhere...
