You can use Widows Firewall and an IPSec policy to limit the servers access to just the DC's it needs for authentication then allow it outbound access to the internet.
Years ago I had an Android phone that I flashed a ROM on that reset the IMEI to all 0's. There was no way to change it and the only solution was to send it back to the manufacturer to reflash.
Maybe the seller had the same issue and flashed the stock firmware back on?

Google isn't going to make any universal windows apps. They already make a win32 app that runs on every windows system on the planet. Why would they also write for Win10 which is only 100m users? Chrome runs on 1.5 billion desktops. Google doesn't need Microsoft at all. Their entire business...
That's a good point but the continued R & D and production runs still costs them well over a billion dollar per year run rate. At some point Wall Street will demand they cut their losses entirely.
