    EVGA 280GTX - Possibly dieing?

    I have this problem with my EVGA GTX 280 as well. I noticed it started when I updated to the latest driver off of EVGA's website. mine flickers when playing BC2 at high resolution and goes away when set at low or medium. I think the card is dying and I will contact EVGA about his issue.

    The good old Q6600

    still rocking my Q6600 @ 3.6 ghz on water :D. I have had this card since release and it hasn't skipped a beat. even at crazy voltages :eek:. its quite fast for my usage.

    heres a feedback, could of saved $ by going with 2600k and put that money towards a better case. you forgot to buy zip ties.

    amazing indeed. only thing I don't like about the Gigabyte's is the cooling design. I want my card to have a rear exhaust so it doesn't spread the heat around the case.

    I think I will wait for the next generation of cards to come out. my oldie GTX280 gets better performance than that. same settings HBAO off and 8CSAA :eek:.

    hello, I am thinking of upgrading to a 6950 and would like to know if this card can max out the BC2 with a 1920x1200 resolution? what FPS are you getting? I would like to know before I dump the cash. no CPU bottleneck here. thanks!

    hello guys, I am still rocking the Q6600 @ 3.7ghz w/ 1660 DDR3 and would like to upgrade my video card. I am thinking of either the GTX 580 or HD6970. I am using a 1900x1200 monitor. is my CPU going to be a bottleneck with this setup? I am holding off for the SB CPU :) thanks!

    very nice. I am upgrading my gtx280 very soon. I am getting low FPS with BC2 around 40ish with everything on high except HBAO off. will this card give be decent frame rates with everything high on 1900x1200? thanks :)
