    Hmm, not to step on any toes, but curiosity lead me to find GSATA and the eSATA plug being controlled by the Marvell 88SE9172 (supporting RAID 0 and RAID 1 configs). As for the slider, it allows you to switch between the 2 BIOS chips (main and backup).
