Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Currently I am reviewing my personal/workstation build. Last year I built an Ivy Bridge system (rig in my sig: for reference - my motherboard). I did what I could with the money I had, while setting a one year plan for my end build. I've enjoyed the performance so far, especially for working...
I've been waiting for these exclusive rights to change. I know some ppl want this phone on a different carrier or simply to purchase AT&T 64gb version from somewhere else like Best Buy (I'm in the latter category). Any word on when this will happen? Maybe someone who is familiar with the...
I ordered a bunch of stuff from them 2 weeks ago and used their standard free egg saver shipping. I placed my order the night before (9ish) and had all my parts waiting for me by 3pm the next day! Same happened this week when I ordered this case. I'm definitely thankful and impressed. Was your...
I had similar issues with my last build using the original Antec 300 case and air cooling. I live in a house that has zero insulation, 52 single pane windows and I'm surrounded by dirt fields. Yeah so... that was a biiiig mistake to go with such a drafty setup. Hopefully I wised up this time...
Omg, it's even better in person! I didn't need to replace my Antec 300 per say, but the zero cable management and usb 3.0 was driving me crazy. I also live in a dust bowl so the added filters was a major plus. That's not even mentioning all the other little goodies it flaunts. I think I'm in...
well she's a real beauty and great for a rainy day. i'd hit that and not even think twice ;)
np and congrads! so fresh and so clean. lol, i'm sure they'll pull a
Btw, I'd like to de-lurk for a moment and say thanks for the review and all your many years of awesomeness! I always regard the [H]staff opinions in high esteem. :D
Also to note, this motherboard has been ordered, shipped, and arriving tomorrow. I'm stoked! I placed the order well before your...
It'd be nice if the deal came from somewhere else, but it's hard to ignore if your in the market for a new case. You wont find this on any e-blast. I only knew about it because of an auto price alert. $129.99 - $35 (promo code) - $25 (rebate) + free shipping = $69.99... link.
Hmm, not to step on any toes, but curiosity lead me to find GSATA and the eSATA plug being controlled by the Marvell 88SE9172 (supporting RAID 0 and RAID 1 configs).
As for the slider, it allows you to switch between the 2 BIOS chips (main and backup).
My bad. BB doesn't carry the i7-4770k yet (at least I can't find it on their website). However, my post should hold true whenever they join the Haswell club...
As mentioned in my post, it's possible to price match with a Best Buy that is in your area. It's free to try ;)
...on other forums, there's been great success. Btw, BB will price match with these online retailers: Amazon.com, Apple.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Buy.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com...
I tried this trick:
Credit goes to Godsend. I think it all depends on who you talk to. The lady I dealt with was afraid of her boss reviewing this and getting burned (I think she was new to the game). If it works for you, you'll get the processor for $229.99.
At any rate, Best Buy price...
