Took the 7870 XT two days back and its all good :)
Now, I never overclocked and I assume the best way to do it is via catalyst software overdrive tab.
So, do I just have to change settings in overdrive (GPU Clock, Memory Clock) and I am all set ?
I don't overclock, coz I don't know how to do it and I live in a hot 35C temp climate. (hence, more heat frm GPU)
BTW, Sapphire version 7870XT has boost core speed... anyidea how to activate it OR does it only gets activated when GPU is at 100% Full load ?
Given my Sapphire 7870Ghz for RMA and just got a call for service center that they are giving me 7870 XT, where most ppl are getting R9 270X for replacement... So I was thinking of challenging it and demand for R9 270X.
So, you guys think I should accept 7870 XT?

Also, I am really wondering Going frm any current SSD to 1GB/s Sata Express OR maybe 2GB/s Pcie ssd -- Will it translate into loading windows in an instant and...
Guyz,
If I buy any (x4) Pcie SSD OR SM951... can I run it on my mobo without slowing my GPU lanes to x8 instead of the default x16 ?
Am using Asus Z97 Deluxe and it has all those lane sharing which due to my limited knowledge getting me extremely confused....
EDIT: Single GPU setup always
There is a small benefit with higher Mhz, but then it doesn't warrant purchase of a new set of Ram when you are already having one.... Just use what you are having as it doesn't make much sense to buy a new one.
Thx Buddy SPOT ON :-)
