Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If anyone was curious, the other posters in this thread were correct. GPU-Z is still showing the first pcie slot running at 16x after I installed the NVME in pcie slot 2. I ran 3dmark just to be completely sure and the two scores were in fact within a few points of each other. Thanks all.
Reading the manual, think you are absolutely correct. I'm not sure why I'm seeing threads of Reddit saying populating both x16 will drop to 8x/8x. The second x16 is limited to 4x anyway so I'm not sure have a 8x/8x bifurcation would even be possible. With that said, is there any difference...
Hi all -
I have my 2 M2 slots populated and need to add a third NVME. My only option is using a PCIE card. My understanding is if is use the second PCI Express x16 slot, the mobo will automatically default the PCI Express x16 (first slot) to 8x/8x config. I'm guessing this will hamper the...
Is it me or are there very few mid range (~$75) very few and far between? I bought a hyperx from ebay and it’s pretty sold but I can’t find many more options. Probably will order a second but wanted to check with the collective knowledge base to see if there are any alternatives I should be...
I know the deal is now dead but I’m reading Newegg’s return policy and it looks like they will accept returns for 1 dead pixel. Did this change recently?? I thought it was 6 or 8 or something like that?
BTW, I found a post on reddit where the poster suggested changing the window size from 2 to 1 in the .ini file. Seemed to fix the crashing issue (so far)
Well, the solution was short lived. 10+ crashes today. The game is entertaining enough that I considered switching to console but I don't want to give ubi any more $
So apparently it had to do with the 6/10 update. I violated rule #1: blame ubisoft if anything goes wrong. Just in case anyone is having the same issue, I took someone's recommendation to change the priority to "low" in the task manager. The seemed to fix it (so far).
Judging by the reddit posts, it's appears to be a widespread AMD issue. I threw in a 3060ti and no issues at all. Hopefully its a coincidence - just happened to be the first game I ran and bam - non stop crashing.
