there is one other thing to disable besides speedstep and that would be C1E and then Cpu-z will show it correctly. You can find this under CPU Features. This has been tested with the Msi 975x platinum v2.
i bet u tried changing the memory divider right? well even if you didnt thers a ton of ppl having this problem and a ton of other problems with this board. Some ppl have got it to stop doin that temporarily by powering it off on the PSU while its in the reboot loop and then clearing the cmos...
yea im interested in that also, if im doing a modest oc uppin only to like 300 to 333 with the stock multiplyer, dont need to mess with volts or anything else ya? Such a small OC should deff be stable I think altho I will still be runnin prime to test it afterwards.

agreed Stupac, after i oc my x6800 to 5ghz it will completely destroy ur 6300, so dont say 6300 owns you cuz your just being dumb by saying that, and I will still have more money left over in my wallet cuz not everyone is as poor as you gepetto
