I forgot to add I simply took off the original fan and kept the original heatsink on. Only the fan was switched so in essence, it's still the same video card.

I used an 80mm Scythe Kama Flex fan on a loud MSI GT 640 and now my machine is much quieter. I used long bolts to screw it into the heatsink.

I was actually crossing my fingers that 90 watt card would be more powerful than the 750 Ti. At least it is. :)

I got a few pink dots that went away when I added a fan to a fanless video card. (Kind of odd it was producing artifacts without a fan because it was a "fanless" card with heatpipes.)

Some say Realtek is more compatible.

I'm going to wait until they give you the option to have rounded out, smaller tiles. Otherwise, I like Win7 Pro. :)

When I found out Ubuntu Linux is compatible with some programs, I decided if I build a secondary machine, I'm likely to use that. Hehe.

I know this may be an isolated incident but when I tried twice to search for a local hospital, I kept getting hits for a hospital at the other end of the city. Only when I looked at a physical map did I know where I wanted to go. I could have missed my appointment on that information.

OK, lol, I'm not an audio engineer. I don't think there are any Guitar Centers in Canada so I don't know if I can listen to studio monitors before buying. What about this idea I've read that studio monitors are too "neutral" too be enjoyable and have no real "warmth"?

It may be due to inferior speakers. Because I got that impression when trying out different Sony mini stereo systems. The cheapest one I actually liked (2nd behind Onkyo). But the more powerful ones, had progressively more and more bass and more masculine female voices. The Onkyo I liked...

You don't find a pair of 80 watt speakers each makes females sound more masculine?

I still think I'd rather have around 30 watts per channel. I have another question though. Those people who were talking about the JBL LSR305 and Neumann speakers etc., do you use these as computer speakers for movies, games and music or just music?

heflys20, the JBL LSR305 are $260 a pair compared to $180 for the 3b. That's about 45% more. If we're talking about $400 speakers then going up to $500 is 25% more.

Possibly. The comments about the speakers sounding "crazy" didn't sound reassuring. lol As a passing comment, does anyone know why some brands don't seem to be selling on Amazon anymore?
