    Upgrading

I've been thinking about upgrading to 2x GTX 660ti's in SLI in my gaming machine. I'm afraid my current ASUS VE278Q monitor won't be able to preform up to par with that setup. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions that could help me out. I was thinking about this guy since its 120hz...

    HTPC/NAS Build

Sorry for the necro but I figured this would be the best place to ask since the history is here. I want to upgrade the CPU in my HTPC/Sever and take the old CPU and put it in my soon to be NAS. I use a lot of virtual machines on the HTPC/server so I'd like to have more processing power. My...

I actually haven't had any type of hardware failure in years *knocks on wood* but I like the way you think. I swapped out the mobo combo for your suggestion. Thanks!

    NAS Build

Not really, I'm planning to use the software RAID utilities. Also changed my mind about the drive. These have better reviews and have another year of warranty. I don't want to build a crappy backup system using crappy drives. Might as well save myself possible headaches by getting the...

Best card for the money to replace a 570GTX?

Haha, I don't mind sinking money into something I enjoying doing. I've been pretty addicted to BF3 lately so I want the best image possible. That 7970 does look good, thanks for the suggestions.

Best card for the money to replace a 570GTX?

Playing at 1920x1080 on an ASUS VE278Q 27". Budget? I'd say no more than $600 but if there is a deal to be had then so be it.

Best card for the money to replace a 570GTX?

I've noticed some screen tearing with vsync on playing BF3. Should that even happen? I was looking to upgrade or SLI not sure what I should do. Looking for most bang for the buck.

    Monitoring Software?

Bump, I'd use whs11 but the ssd isn't big ebough. Might revert back to a large spindle drive just to install it. Does anyone have anything good to say about whs11? I'm also running a vm on unbuntu on this box that hosts some services as well.
