I'm certain we'll see tiny ITX versions of the card from AIB partners it's the perfect card for it.

1060's are under $200 for the 3GB models and low/mid $200's for the 6GB, pretty good bang for buck considering used 970s are going for those prices!

Thinking I'll take a dive on the 512GB version when my laptop arrives next week. I'm willing to take a small risk for a nearly $100 price difference versus competitors.

Would definitely consider jumping ship as long as they can keep power consumption under control, was the only reason I didn't opt for one of their previous offerings.

Give it a month or two and the prices will come down to reasonable levels, they might even tank when the 1060 releases.

Kind of a common sense question all you really need is to match your refresh rate. Anything beyond a 20-30fps cushion is pointless in my opinion unless you're competitively benchmarking. I generally will upgrade or sidegrade each generation depending on what I'm playing or planning on playing...

This is definitely what needs to be done, I would never buy a non-Nexus device again after the two phones I had bought were dropped within months of getting them and stuck on KitKat. Too many companies pumping out gimmick phones with no plan of supporting them for any reasonable period of time...

It was an Nvidia 6200 OC and I was severely disappointed :p It turned me into an enthusiast though first by learning how to overclock and eventually seeking a new card which led to a full build.

All good points, I'd say the pocket model is just a marketing gimmick and how they're receiving most of their funding to get the platform on its feet. Any competition is good competition in the tiny computing space though.
