Thinking I'll take a dive on the 512GB version when my laptop arrives next week. I'm willing to take a small risk for a nearly $100 price difference versus competitors.
Would definitely consider jumping ship as long as they can keep power consumption under control, was the only reason I didn't opt for one of their previous offerings.
Just wanted to post some new stuff I'm excited for:
Full snap on 3D printed keyboard faceplate being worked on by a community member:

Popular emulation console software GMenu2x being ported:

Kind of a common sense question all you really need is to match your refresh rate. Anything beyond a 20-30fps cushion is pointless in my opinion unless you're competitively benchmarking.
I generally will upgrade or sidegrade each generation depending on what I'm playing or planning on playing...
This is definitely what needs to be done, I would never buy a non-Nexus device again after the two phones I had bought were dropped within months of getting them and stuck on KitKat. Too many companies pumping out gimmick phones with no plan of supporting them for any reasonable period of time...
Dang that's pretty bad, perk of living in a small town is knowing the postman so stuff like this never happens. Also haven't have any issues using priority mail as my primary shipping method knock on wood.
It was an Nvidia 6200 OC and I was severely disappointed :p It turned me into an enthusiast though first by learning how to overclock and eventually seeking a new card which led to a full build.
All good points, I'd say the pocket model is just a marketing gimmick and how they're receiving most of their funding to get the platform on its feet. Any competition is good competition in the tiny computing space though.
Super excited although it seems shipping estimates for preorders are getting pushed back a few weeks.
What are you plans for when you get it? I'm hoping to get some emulation use out of mine and hoping the keyboard feels right for it. Also plan to do the speaker mod that was posted up to the...
If that 4K Mirrors Edge benchmark above is any indication, 8GB is a must if you want to have a high end 4K experience in the future. I'm sure the resale value will be a lot higher coming into the next cycle as well.
Probably upgrade to a 1070 from my current 290 assuming it's more power efficient as well, although I'm interested in seeing what the mid range cards are like power/performance wise.
A bit late to this post but I've had Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra on my primary desktop for a couple months now. It was pretty expensive and a pain to apply, I probably won't opt for it again and only did because I bought a delidded chip.
5S was a great phone I had it for a solid year before moving to the next iPhone and handed it down to a sibling. I'm pretty fond of the stock keyboard (with bloard) as I never used any custom keyboards like swype when I was on Android.
Oh man this looks brilliant. I'm a massive fan of the Fallout series, I've been playing through the first two recently. Don't think I'll be buying into the beta at this point though...

Not sure if he's right though.
I haven't seen anything aftermarket but this Sapphire card has what you're looking for if you still have the option of returning the card:

I'll agree with Falcon and say that the Atom needs to either receive a major overhaul or get cut altogether in favor of the latest gen celerons which have shown themselves to be pretty great performers.
Just make sure you get a good board with some vrm cooling, I've seen serious throttling issues at stock clocks on the FX-4100 when under load due to overheating vrms.
4+1 phase should do the trick.
