    BF3 Video Card Upgrade Help!

    You can turn of MSAA and still retain the Ultra details. The performance drop with any single card is too significant for me to use MSAA in BF3.

    Simply because the system aside from the GPU might really be perfectly fine. I know some people running 4Ghz+ quads on Motherboards with 1.0 PCI-E slots. I'm running a PCI-E 2.1 6950 in my mobo which is 1.0a.

    Uncharted has many very nice special effects. Particle effects for example in the water and dust/sand. Nice character models and some nice texture and lighting. However it is a static environment which is much easier to make good looking.

    You don't need to run MSAA and honestly I find the game to be more eye pleasing when it's turned off. I don't like the soft image that MSAA gives BF3.

    Personally I think the 2GB is not worth it below 1920x1080 and even then 1GB for most games is perfectly fine. I think only Battlefield 3 will max out 1GB at 1920x1080 but I have not measured any other games specifically.
