    Update: I checked last night, and the CPU fan is running at max rpm (~1270), so that's a good sign. I changed the ASUS Q-Fan to "performance" mode instead of "optimal". Now my core temps are ~37C and 42C for each core respectively - maybe a degree lower than before, but about the same...
