OK, in that case I guess I will use ffdshow as getting the x-fi seems overkill if my onboard can handle it fine. I have a 2.6ghz dual core setup with 2gb ram so software decoding should be no issue. Found a super DVD player, I can't get enough of these ebuyer value products :p...
