• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

    Port won't forward cisco 871

Haha, sounds like you're being Cox-blocked! :D It looks like your ISP blocks incoming port 80. Check it out for yourself: http://support.cox.com/sdccommon/asp/contentredirect.asp EDIT: Sorry about the broken link. I tried to find a working link but Cox doesn't give a way to access the...

    2 routers 1 network

Don't use the WAN port of the 2nd router. Just plug a (crossover) cable from a regular Ethernet port from one router to the other. This way they will only "switch" between the 2 which sounds like what you want.

    Link Aggregation / Trunking Question

Not by any standard means, no. Currently EtherChannel and LACP only work with 2 physical links to the same switch. If you REALLY want to use trunking you could get a Cisco Catalyst 2950 (with up-to-date firmware.) They run from anywhere between $150 to $400 on eBay depending on the number of...

    Large LAN Party Setup

Nacho is right. The PCI bus can only handle ~130 Mbytes/sec. 1000Gbit/s is 125Mbytes/sec, but it would not hurt to have 2 links bonded for redundancy purposes. I also agree with having aggregated/bonded uplinks (2x1Gbit) from the smaller switches to the core switch. I don't know what kind of...
