Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Nice pic Goat_187.
I picked up my Megahalems from HeatsinkFactory.com for only 60 bucks. I've ordered from them before and they have same day shipping too.
Hey, I read in another forum that prolimatech was started by Thermalright engineers that left the company. Is that true?
I just picked up a Tuniq but I have been hearing that the Enzotech Silent-X is the Tuniq killer. Maybe, maybe not (I doubt it) but I was hoping to find a review that could provide some weight to those comments but havent found anything. I did a google search and found the Enzotech Silent-X on...
I got my Tuniq Tower 120 at HeatsinkFactory
Has anyone had any experience with Tuniq line of cases? I'm building a new rig for my wife and I wonder if their cases are as sweet as their coolers.
Thanks for the fast reply. =) Sounds like I will be going with the 500W version then. Glad I asked as I didnt realize the 430W version didnt have the PCI express power cable I need and I was about to get one.
I checked case-mod.com and its now 124.95 and not 105.00 anymore. ;-( I double...
I am building (not paying for, thankfully) a pc for my brother but I am not sure what watt power supply to use. Based on the many recommendations I am going with a Seasonic Brand power supply.
I don’t know if I should get the Seasonic 430W, 500W or 600W based on my hardware. Can...
I've been doing some looking around myself today for a 120mm fan to go with my girlfriends new Scythe Ninja. The queitest one I have been able to find is this the Nexus 120mm Silent Fan 22 dba and 37 CFM.
Edit: BTW, I wouldnt trust those 92mm Thermaltake fan specs. Its been my experience...
Thanks for the ideas. I think I will take your advice and use a 120mm fan with it just to be safe. They have an option to select a Nexus 120mm Silent Fan so that should work out well. That is unless you guys know of a quieter 120mm with decent air flow. At only 22 dba that should be quiet...
I realize I could use a low speed 120mm, but I want to know if I could use the Ninja in the silent passive mode without a fan with the cpu I mentioned under load without frying it.
I am building a PC for my girlfriend who's into gaming but she wants it to be super quiet. So I was wondering, if I run a AMD 64 4000+ with the Scythe Ninja will it be fine passive, or should I use it fanned? I imagine it will get really hot under load during gaming (World Of Warcraft) and...
>>>Unfortunately I think you are referencing the Area 51-5500 laptop
Exactly.
I took your advice and called Alienware and they were extremely unhelpful. I love outsourced tech support.....Not! They pretty much said that my laptop is too old and that I cant get a different video card...
I have an Alienware laptop with an AGP ATI 9600 128meg video card. The big draw at the time was that I could upgrade my video card later down the road. I havent been able to find any moblie AGP video cards anywhere! Do they even exist anymore or does anyone know where I can get one? I'm not...
I found a post at extremeoverclocking.com that says HeatsinkFactory.com is offering 10% off anything in the store using coupon code "extremeoc" . I've been on the hunt for the SI-120 and grabed one today and saved some kizash so I thought I would pass it along here.
I'm pretty new to the...
I've been looking for the ThermalRight SI-120 and finally found it in stock over at HeatsinkFactory.com Its 44.99 which is cheaper than the normal XP-120 but I havent been able to find any good reviews on this heatsink. Any ideas about where I can get some real performance stats on this...
