    GTX680 vs GTX980 - 3dMark inside

So, I wanted to see what a better processor would do with my GTX680 so I brought it into my new workstation which is a Xeon E5-2665 and was surprised that it didn't really do THAT much better. http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/3092484/fs/3088812

yeah, I'll eventually upgrade my PC... mainly to save some money on my electricity bill. but I do not NEED to upgrade my PC... not this year at least

also, the unfortunate truth that I do NOT, in fact, need a new PC... because these Xeons are still beasts.

Is my workstation/gaming rig worth anything?

Might as well just keep it til it dies at that. It plays BF3 ultra @ 1200p @ 75fps

Is my workstation/gaming rig worth anything?

yeah, I've been trying to sell the Xeons on ebay... but they're not worth much it seems. like $250ea... I'm wondering if it would be worth selling the entire rig with a GTX 570 for like $1000?

    Best X58 Motherboard available today?

the problem is I have TWO X5647s. I'm considering trading one of them for an X58 motherboard. right now it has 12GB on it (3 chips on mainboard. 3 on daughter board.) there's 6 slots on the mainboard and 3 on the daughter (not sure if I can use the other three on the mainboard to be honest)

    Twin Xeon 5600 enthusiast motherboards?

So, might be worth it to find a good X58 for cheap and go single socket? will still consume less power than two Xeons on the same board. Perhaps I could trade my second processor for an X58 motherboard...
