    Ended up getting two sticks of the above 5400 ram with an E3400 running on an EVGA 680i. Decided that it was better to pay the money now for a mobo that I can upgrate with a Quad down the line and 4 ram slots. Thanks for the input guys.

    If I went with a cheaper mobo, perhaps a Gigabyte 965-P or something similar, would I still be able to achieve similar results? Or is the overclock with the cheap ram dependent on the Mobo?
