Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Excellent. Very happy to hear this.
I'm sure you have a ton of to-do's on this but curious if you could crack the nut on my specific config. For some reason, none of the third party tools, HWMonitor, Speedfan, Core Temp or your tool is able to display my system fans. Only specific Asus...
Very nice tool. Works great on my setup: Core i5 750 on Asus Maximus III Formula. I also compared it to CPUID Hardware Monitor and Core Temp and values appear to be within .5 - 1 degree difference. I like this and will continue to use and test. I hope that you can continue to expand and also...
Coolermaster fans are good and low noise. I have a few in my Cosmos case (came standard) and noise it at a minimum. However I went a different route and picked up the Noctua NF-P12 for use with my H50. Did this as these were rated at higher airflow while still keeping the noise low. Added 2...
I can also recommend this cooler. I just installed it yesterday with 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans and this is really keeping my Core i5 cool. I am averaging in the low 30-35C degree for standard browsing activity. This along with extremely quiet operations and making me really like this cooler.
Sorry I should have also added my comments. For me it was the following
1. Easy overclocking options (if you want to try that. Can be done in real time)
2. Overall good board layout of slots, ports and connectors
3. Included Sound card. Some may argue but I only run 2 speakers so I don't...
I just ordered this board as well and ordered the Corsair H50 to specifically avoid any issues with the memory slots. From reviews and feedback on this forum and others, H50 is a pretty good cooler and competes with the TRUE for ultimate cooling.
Have my H50 on order along with 2 extra fans. I'd like to hear from actual owners of the H50 as to which setup they found best and are currently using. I've read threads where individuals are using both setups. However I would like to get away with installing this once if at all possible. As...
I've had the 9500 for about a year and half. The Core i5/7s weren't even out yet, which is why I do question if it's sufficient. I kind of like Zalman coolers. I've been looking at these since none of them will block the first memory slot. I believe the CNPS10X would be a tight fit. The...
Am upgrading my system from LGA 775 to Core i5. Am currently using a Zalman CNPS9500 AT. Was thinking of using it for i5 but not sure if it's sufficient. Need to buy new adapter mount if I keep it. If not am thinking of the following:
1. CNPS9900 NT
2. CNPS9700 NT
3. Corsair H50
4...
