    Official Galaxy Nexus Thread

Coming from an OG Droid, biggest thing i noticed was apps installing SO fast. And in general the phone just feels faster and cleaner. ICS is just a slick system. On the cons, I have noticed I have about a bar less reception and lower battery life. I charge as often as I had to with my two...

    FSP400-60PN anomaly

I believe PFC uses extra capacitors, so if they're large it's probably just their charge time (even though 4 seconds seems long for that). Thats my best guess.

    Reducing fan speed

A pot would work, but they don't do well in warm environments, as they handle heat very poorly, and wear out when turned too often. Personally I would just use 7V trick (fyi the black wire is not - anything, its just reference). However if you want to use resistors, just figure out what...

    Fan Controller!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995016 6 channels, 30W. I've had it for about a year, no noise coming from it what so ever, but like the other model the lights are crazy bright. When they're turned up its almost like daylight in my dorm.

PSU died with a bang, replace fuse?

Uhhh I've seen capacitors completely explode. Never heard a transistor bang though, just seen them burn up silently.

    Does this look ok?

If the boxes aren't damaged wouldn't that imply it was more a PNY f' up then Newegg's? Its not like Newegg makes the retail boxes and puts the cards in before they ship them out, or even opens them up and inspects them, unless I'm really mistaken on how a retailer works...

    Q8200 can i overclock?

Never been able to get mine stable over 2.7GHz on an evga 750i FTW SLI. Not a great overclocker.

    Droid

I have mine set to 400 and it never caused freezing. What I find is that if I let a thread run over the limit too long (where the phone removes old ones to display new ones), suddenly the phone will delete all the text threads I have. Whoever this happened too, have you had masses of texts, or...

    Slight dent worth fixing?

For Christmas last year my parents got me a CM ATCS 840. They left it in the original box, and I noticed the cardboard was heavily damaged (thanks UPS). Opened it up, didn't see anything glaring, left it there until spring break when I had time to move my build. I finally look it over really...
