The switches are typically so unlikely to be the point of failure that I doubt anything that is happening is due to a manufacturing defect of Cherry, itself. Keyboard manufacturers advertise the lifespan of the switches as a marketing point, but the reality is that they don't do a very good job...

I'm really interested to see if anyone followed up with lubing these low profile switches and what their experience with it was. I just lubed the Gateron low profile reds that came with my Nuphy air75 and they're so buttery smooth now. Almost too much thocc...
