My friend has a 13" Macbook, model A1181, the backlight on his screen works intermittently, so sometimes he has to tilt the screen to an uncomfortable angle in order to get the backlight to work properly. I don't think it's a problem with his screen, even when the backlight's not on you can...
You don't know the proper usage of "your" vs "you're".
It's definitely an option I'm considering. Thing is that there's not a laptop out that will do what I want it to do, yet. I'm sure it'll exist within the next 3 years. I was thinking about relying on a single extension cord and a...
As of now, I'm saving. In a year's time, every spare dollar I have is going into making the mobile apartment as best as possible.
I've considered it, but I'm a bit worried about the response time for gaming, from what I can tell my money is better spent investing in a nice monitor. What...
If Virgin were to FAIL and implement the 5GB cap, who's the next cheapest Android provider for someone who doesn't talk much, but texts and uses the internet a bunch? I like the sounds of only $25/month, I don't have high phone standards aside from it needs to be Android, any competitors to Virgin?
I'm saying "No" to the Intercept, seems like a kinda shite phone from what I hear.
But DAMN I want a physical keyboard Android phone w/ Unlimited Text/Data =( Sucks about Virgin lowering the bar, that's a dick move and I won't stand for it.
Fuck it, I might just ahead and go all-out Skype...
I tell you what, that Motorola Triumph looks pretty darn nice. Wish it had a physical keyboard though. I heard that some of the best Android emulators got pulled from the market, will there be a way in the future for me to be able to play emulated games on the Triumph? How does touchscreen...
Keep in mind; I'm a poor college student, and I've never had an Android phone before. Currently I use a flip phone through Verizon that my parents are paying for.
I've been shopping around, and I'm intrigued by the Samsung Intercept. It's got Android 2.2, and I'd be buying it through Virgin...
What if I don't plan on using the camera or video capture? I'm more interested in the quality of the phone features themselves, such as talking, texting, call quality, etc.
I'm looking for a phone that meets the following minimum specs:
Most important!:
Don't have to pay for a data plan
GREAT call quality, incoming and outgoing
Easy-to-type physical keyboard
Parents still pay for the phone for now, so we're on Verizon.
AWESOME Battery Life so that I don't have to...
I have considered it, there are pro's and con's to a wind-turbine setup. It almost seems more worth-while to invest in more solar panels. But I haven't completely eliminated the possibility, I would have to do more research before I made a final decision =)
As a matter of fact, most of the computer is already built, I just wanted to get hypothetical opinions about some of the future upgrades to this machine as well, so I just included my ideal final-product PC.
For example, parts that I need now are to switch out my bulky and beautiful, but...
