    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

I've tried Windows 7, I don't like it. When I say I don't like it, I've given it a fair trial, I'm not one of those people that takes a quick look, runs into one problem and gives up. Ove run it for a few weeks and really tried to get into it, it's just not what I want. Changing my OS is not...

    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

If the OS is the problem and no drivers will be released to fix the issue, I'll be moving back to my 280, or stepping up to a 470 if they're not affected by the same issue. My 280 worked flawlessly, as the 460 does outside of games. It runs Furmark, F@H, OCCT etc with no issues but GPU usage...

    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

Thanks for the info. I guess my card won't show any issues tomorrow with Win7 then, nor will changing the card help. I'll just have to wait for new drivers. In answer to your question, I'm using XP X64 because no other OS that's out there meets my needs better. @00PS - I'm not looking for...

    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

I'm open to the possibility that the issue is related to either the OS, drivers or the card itself. I'm testing the card tomorrow under Windows 7 X64, on a completely different machine, to rule out the card, and I'll probably try swapping it with another 460 just in case. I'd much sooner keep...

    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

Sorry, I wasn't aware that XP X64 was unsupported ... oh wait ... If the drivers say they support the product, then they damn well better do. I'm far from the only one who has had trouble with a 460 and certain games stuttering badly (I get it in Mafia II as well, but only when driving) so I...

    260.63 via Nvidia are up!

These drivers do not address my issues with BF:BC2 udner XP X64 with a GTX 460. The stuttering is improved from the point where the game was completely unplayable, but it still disrupts my game too much to make it enjoyable. Looks like I'm either stepping up to a 470 or back to my 280.

How to install Nvidia 258.96 drivers?

I can't see your sig, stuck on my phone, so if this is a stupid question ignore it. But, is your system overclocked? I had to take my system back to stock speeds to install these drivers (even though my OC is stable), and I'm far from the only one. Hope this helps. Posted via [H] Mobile Device

    GTX460 downclocking in BF:BC2?

Cool, it'd be good to know the results whenever you do have time to test. I wish I had some time to install some of my other games and test, I might get time sometime soon but by then the issue will probably be fixed, heh.

    GTX460 downclocking in BF:BC2?

Thanks, I did read that thread but downclocking wasn't mentioned either in the issues, or Nvidia's response, so I didn't think the issue was the same as mine. If anyone is experiencing stuttering in BC2 or other games with a 460, perhaps they could check and see if their card is downclocking...

    GTX460 downclocking in BF:BC2?

I guess I must have been using the wrong keywords then, I've not come across anything yet and nobody I've spoken to knows of this problem. Is there a solution yet? If it's widespread though, I'd guess it's a driver issue, these 258.96 drivers do seem somewhat buggy to say the least. The only...

Looking for a budget set of headphones

Update: I got my HARX700s today and I'm very impressed. Great sound quality and good build quality. I didn't realise how large they would be, which is my bad for not checking first, of course they'd be big ... not that it's a problem, just unexpected. These headphones have started to sway me...

    GTX460 downclocking in BF:BC2?

I've searched for a good while to try and find anyone else with the same issue, but I've come up blank. When I'm playing BF:BC2, my GTX460 (Inno3d 768MB verison) downclocks to the desktop clock speeds, then back up, constantly. It makes the game completely unplayable as it will run smooth for...

Post Your Best GTX460 Overclocks & Benchmarks

I have the Inno3D 768MB model. Currently clocked at 829/1658/1800 core/shader/memory, at default 1.012V. I tested up to 875MHz core with the same voltage and it ran Furmark but failed during F@H - this is my highest stable F@H clock. At 50% fan speed, which is inaudible with my other fans...

Looking for a budget set of headphones

Although I'm careful, things do tend to break near me for whatever reason. I went with the JVC HARX700s, they were dispatched today but I have no idea when I'll get them - I work long hours so unless a neighbour takes in the package I won't get them till the weekend I guess. Thanks very much for...

Looking for a budget set of headphones

Heh, some of us say quid, yeah. I saw the 700s on the page where the 900s were, and I thought they looked interesting - but, I don't know anything about this side of things so I just looked past them. If they are pretty nice though, I may go for those - £20 saving would be pretty helpful...
