Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think the problem lies more in the size of the industry and the expectations, not of the gamers, but of the management/share holders of the companys producing and publishing the games. They won't risk investing in something totally new and original. They want a slam-dunk, money in the bank...
If I'm not mistaken, the side panels on Kandalf and Armor cases are the same. You should have the option of getting a Kandalf with a 25cm fan. If not, you can buy the side panel separately.

If you're still having issues after the RMA, I'm going to suggest that it's the X-fi. I think that Creative still hasn't ironed out all the issues with that card and it's drivers.
I was having very strange lag with windows explorer in certain apps and also having occasional locks in BF2 and...
It doesn't surprise me that there is power to the board. There is a green LED indicator. It just surprised me that USB had power when it was off.
I did try the mouse trick. Neither board will light a mouse when it's off.
Being bored last weekend, I built up a USB LED keyboard lamp. Was a simple build and even though I could have bought one cheaper, I had fun knocking it out.
Now for the question: I noticed when I turned off my computer, the lamp was still lit. I thought this was strange and moved the lamp...
At the risk of possible hijack, how bout posing the question a bit differently.
I'm currently using a 19" CRT at 1280x1024. My next upgrade is a 20" ws LCD, 1680x1050. Should be here next week.

Ok, loosened up the memory timings. That seemed to solve the SuperPi problems.

Ok, scratch that. I just checked the bios and the HT is x3. With that setting CPUz shows HT link of 800
If I set it to x4 the HT is at 1066 and SuperPi runs into errors. Sorry for the mistake :( . I'll do some playing around with it between now and the weekend and see if I can get it...
Stable enough for my purposes. I don't experience any random reboots. I haven't run Prime95 for hours on end, but don't have any issues with SuperPi or several passes of Sandra stress tests. BF2 runs fine for me. I do lock occasionally in BF2142, but I think that's more an issue with the new...
Asus has bios version 0304 available for download. Also if you register your MB with the site you have access to 0402 beta.
Asus forums arent' much to crow about. They are slow as dirt and there is never anyone actually from Asus that posts there, but some people have reported that the two...
