    ok a little update on my problem. I reinstalled the OS and installed all needed drivers off the motherboard cd. I still had the same performance issues as stated above.     I will reinstall the OS and install EVERYTHING from the CD and see if that helps. If that does not work, I am going to short the CMOS and take out the battery overnight and see if that helps.
