Well, I just bought a new 7970. Missed the new AMD launch. I hope I didn't buy too soon and miss a really good deal. I am very happy with my card though.

i found a killer deal for a 2410. a friend just upgraded to a 30" so i can get his 6 month old 2410 for $320

quick question. i have a chance to get the 2412 or the 2410 at about the same price, 8 dollar difference. i only game, watch movies and web surf. which is better for what i do and i have a gts 450, how much of a better card do i need to get without giving it a heart attack. thnx

If you are going with sandy bridge either p67 or z68 chipsets if you can't wait for the new stuff for sb-e in nov or dec or ib around march. asus, gigabyte, and msi all have good boards in several price ranges.

thnx for the link. with ivy bridge coming out so soon i think it will make more sense to wait as my current system will do most anything except for the very latest games ok. not great but ok

yes the asus software is top notch. i may just wait and see what x79 brings to the table

how about diablo 2 with the median xl mod. turns it into a whole new game that is much, much harder

voted for diablo 3 but just as excited about skyrim. that series has been great since the beginning. still play oblivion with mods

for me it was wing commander series. just kept getting better and better
